when I wasn't going between fashion shows, trade and networking events and private viewings, I was attending collection presentations. considering I'm not famous in any sense of the word, I did have quite a bit of free time during the days, as the presentations I had invites to were either in the morning or later in the afternoon.
this created the perfect mix of work and fun (although my work is fun, so it was kind of a harmonious mix between fun and slightly more fun), and so I had time to go out and spend money - my favourite thing to do.
malaikaraiss was my first ever presentation (and event) during Copenhagen Fashion Week. based out of the tiny 11o Tullinsgade venue, we were treated to an intimate collections in an intimate space.
the collection was a perfectly balanced mix between pastels, darks and prints, offering equal parts of all three for a cohesive collection.
Rains, known for the kind of waterproof clothing you'd actually want to be seen in, hosted their presentation in a pop up store in the centre of Europe's longest shopping street, Strøget.
taking their inspiration from nature, the digital presentation was shown in an urban jungle, amongst plants, trees and construction materials.
the Ganni presentation was done in small groups, and we were taking on a tour of the collection, seeing pictures, videos, reading essays and visiting the Ganni pop up.
we went through the creative processes, the inspiration, and the oh - so important topic of sustainability, which Copenhagen Fashion Week has been HUGE on promoting.
very fitting, given our current situation with the environment.
